In Spring 2019, Past Present Projects will present Graffiti & Ornament, a site-responsive exhibition featuring artists Roberto Lugo and Leo Tecosky at the historic Hamilton Mansion at The Woodlands, which uses a piece of 19th century carved graffiti preserved at the site as a point of departure. The exhibition is curated by Elizabeth Essner, a Brooklyn-based independent curator, writer, and researcher.

Graffiti & Ornament is funded through a community arts grant from The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
